Sonargaon – The once capital of Bengal, is a place where you can see the country’s heritage. The main place to visit here is the Folk Arts and Crafts museum located inside the Folk Arts and Crafts Foundation premises, the nearby old city from colonial period – Panam, and the beautiful Goaldi Mosque from the sultanate period.

পানাম নগর

পানাম নগর নারায়ণগঞ্জ জেলার, সোনারগাঁতে অবস্থিত একটি ঐতিহ্যবাহী প্রাচীন শহর। বড় নগর, খাস নগর, পানাম নগর -প্রাচীন সোনারগাঁর এই তিন নগরের মধ্যে পানাম ছিলো সবচেয়ে আকর্ষণীয়।এখানে কয়েক শতাব্দী পুরনো অনেক ভবন রয়েছে, যা বাংলার বার ভূইয়াঁদের ইতিহাসের সাথে সম্পর্কিত। সোনারগাঁর ২০ বর্গকিলোমিটার এলাকাজুড়ে এই নগরী গড়ে ওঠে।
